Tornado Disaster Relief

Last week, a devastating band of monstrous tornadoes hit parts of the Midwest and the South leaving the surrounding cities in ruins and taking the lives of over 300 people. This is said to be one of the deadliest tornado outbreaks in history with a total of more than 600 tornadoes formed in the month of April alone. With an estimated 5 billion dollars in damages, several relief funds have been created in hopes that we can come together as Americans and help our country. Below are a few suggestions for those who are interested in donating to aid our country and the lives of our fellow Americans affected by this disaster.

The Women’s Head to Toe Expo is back.

Ladies… it’s that time of year. The Women’s Head to Toe Expo is back! This event will be held at the Del Mar Fairgrounds from Friday, April 16^th through Sunday, April 18^th. The hours are Friday 10 AM – 5 PM, Saturday 10 AM – 6 PM, and Sunday 10 AM – 5 PM. It is a great opportunity to view plenty of merchandise and services in a one-stop shop.

This expo provides a wide variety of girlicious items. From purses to plastic surgeons…. you can find it all. The selection of merchandise is vast and unique. Some of the vendors are artists selling their own hand-made treasures. These fantastic creations are one of a kind and also make great gifts.

This will be our 7^th year exhibiting at the Head to Toe Women’s Expo. Every year we look forward to the next because we always meet such an extraordinary group of ladies. We like to use this time to educate people about permanent cosmetic makeup, and the positive effects it can have on your life. For example, women who have problems with their near vision may find that applying eyeliner is tedious work. Permanent cosmetics can relieve you of this chore.

So grab the girls and Head to Toe! Come and visit NaturaLook at booth #632. We will be there all weekend to answer any questions you may have about permanent cosmetics. Jeanee will be doing permanent cosmetic procedures at the show. We will also be selling Latisse at special expo price. A “Wellness Day” will be coming to a Scripps Hospital near you this Saturday, October 17th. The NaturaLook/Lusby Vision Institute staff will be among the health professionals present at the Scripps Memorial La Jolla location. We will be providing information and answering questions regarding our services, which include permanent cosmetics (eyeliner, brows, and lips), LASIK and cataract surgery, and general ophthalmology. That’s right ladies, the expo for all things women is back and NaturaLook will be in attendance. For those of you who have seen us at this amazing expo we would like to offer the invitation to joins us again in Pasadena on Oct. 9th, 10th & 11th. We will be there offering our services and partaking in one of the greatest expo geared specifically towards women and all the wonderful services that makes being a woman fun and exciting.

Tattoo Removal

Do you know someone who has a tattoo they don’t want? Maybe they decided on a whim, for social acceptance or any other reason which would cause regret for having the tattoo. Now this person is older, a professional, or a parent and regrets ever getting that Chinese symbol, or persons name or the popular tattoo which has been popping up on the lower backs of girls everywhere.

2009 has been an amazing year for permanent makeup and it has been improved greatly with the creation of a tattoo removal product called EliminInk. EliminInk allows for the safe, conservative removal of tattoos and permanent makeup with minimal risk of scarring or hypo-pigmentation. Used in conjunction with DermRenu the scarring created by the original tattoo can be greatly minimized as well. The greatest attribute of this break through product is it is not color selective, unlike lasers, meaning it works on all colors, and EliminInk can be used on most areas of the body.

The treatment itself is much like being tattooed. The EliminInk product is tattooed into the tattoo and it works by binding itself with the ink or pigment in the skin. During the healing process the ink or pigment is pulled to the skins surface. After DermRenu is used to prohibit scarring and aid in the healing process.

The USCA “Best of Local Business” Award Program recognizes outstanding local businesses throughout the country.
