Welcome to Spring!

To all of our readers, Happy Spring.  What an amazing time of year Spring is, and finally we have arrived.  Spring is my favorite season for so many reasons, the main reason being the wonderful feeling of newness and change and rebirth.  Spring is a time for babies being born, nature coming back to life and brushing off the cold winter and welcoming the warmth of the sun.  Time to pack away the crock pots and pull out the lemonade pitchers.

So, today it is going to reach the high 60′s low 70′s After having the fireplace burning and slippers on my feet for so long I have an overwhelming urge to go dig in the dirt.  Writing this blog I had a Carrie Bradshaw moment and thought: What can I do to make this Spring better than last year?

I have to admit that at this time last year I was a new mommy and in recovery mode.  I had adopted the Raw Food way of eating completely by accident having only enough time to throw some fruit and veggies into a blender as a meal and was trying to catch some sleep any chance I could. I think Spring past me by without me even taking notice.  Now that the baby is over a year and walking everywhere it is time to get outside and do something.  Maybe it is the year of planting a garden, setting out hummingbird feeders, or something as simple as cleaning out my shoe closet.  What are your plans?

I can say one thing, look for fresh recipes in the upcoming months and hopefully some fun projects to do outdoors.
