A “Wellness Day” will be coming to a Scripps Hospital near you this Saturday, October 17th. The NaturaLook/Lusby Vision Institute staff will be among the health professionals present at the Scripps Memorial La Jolla location. We will be providing information and answering questions regarding our services, which include permanent cosmetics (eyeliner, brows, and lips), LASIK and cataract surgery, and general ophthalmology. Choose from 6 Wellness Day locations, all with a unique range of family-friendly health and wellness activities, including:
• Free health screenings and assessments
• A chance to meet primary care and specialty doctors
• Face painting, and other activities for the kids
• Healthy food tastings
• Health seminars led by medical experts
• Health, wellness and safety information

• Weight Loss 101: What Works and Why, Location: Scripps Clinic Rancho Bernardo. From lifestyle changes to medical interventions, the most effective ways to lost weight and keep it off for good.
• Scripps experts discuss H1N1 and the seasonal flu, Location: Scripps Coastal Medical Center, Carlsbad site. A physician panel discusses flu updates and treatment information.
• The Flu Season: Signs and Symptoms and When to Head to the ER, Location: Scripps Memorial Hospital La Jolla. An emergency room physician discusses flu signs and symptoms what to do and where to go for treatment.
• Successful Aging, Location: Scripps Mercy Hospital Chula Vista. Learn about successful aging and common myths associated with aging.
• H1N1/Swine Flu Update, Location: Scripps Mercy Hospital San Diego. Get the latest information on the H1N1 influenza virus, and tips to stay healthy.
